wooden seagull, St Ives

I was eating my pasty sitting on the beach in St Ives many moons ago, when a seagull swopped down and stole the last bit of the crust. I wasn't phsycologically scarred - it was soon converted into a little anecdote to dine out on. Now that I live in West Penwith, I am constantly fascinated by seagulls, the bad press they get, the amount of press they get . Suddenly realised that I am building up quite a collection of images of them. Any seagull facts and stories would be welcome. I feel a project coming on.
