This story began with this photo of a well under construction taken by PAUL JEFFREY in a camp for internally displaced people in central Darfur. 7 years later I visited the camp for CAFOD and Caritas International and met up with Amina who was in that original photo and was still living in the camp."It was the best day when we had our own water in the camp," says Amina. "Before, we had to walk to the valley to collect water, and this was dangerous, because we were threatened by nomads who would attack us."
